Featuring the works of: Dina Goldstein and Zuza Rozanska

Dina Goldstein is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Tel Aviv. Her works include collage, video and live animation performances. On the verge between performance, visual art and toy theatre, Goldstein’s works strive to evoke surreal fantasy worlds, deriving from her yearning for the wondrous and the desire to bring the magical into the quotidian.

Goldstein’s work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in museums and galleries in Israel and her live shows performed on stages in Israel and the United States.

In Aus den Augen she will show small paper cut out installations, based on 16th century illustrations of the Schembart carnival, as well as live animation video works.

Zuza Rozanska is a collage artist and photographer based in Berlin. Exclusively using discarded materials she randomly finds, her collages are pieced together from elements unique to her environment. Using the medium intuitively, she seeks to make sense in the synthesis of seemingly random elements rather than trying to impose a concrete meaning.

Her works have been shown in group exhibitions in Germany, Israel and Belgium.

The photos exhibited in Aus den Augen show glimpses of her 5-year stay in Israel: things that were once taken for granted, in hindsight seem like echoes from a past life, almost forgotten and yet dearly missed.
